K2C PODCAST #2 | Kruger's SINGITA LEBOMBO
"Part Two: 24 hours at a luxury safari lodge"
|
Kruger2Canyons.com spent a fabulous day exploring and documenting Singita's Private Reserve, deep inside (but still part of) the Kruger National Park on the border with Mozambique. |
With its own private concession with 15,000 of prime bushveld hectares to explore, this is recognised as one of the world's leading Safari operations, and has been showered with awards.
This is the first of a two-part podcast in which we document the first hours of this sensational experience: from arrival to night drive in "24 hours at a Luxury Safari Lodge".
In this part, we are introduced to the Lodge by Advice and Kathryn, made to feel at home, and shown to our beautiful rooms over the N'Wanetsi River.
We sample lunch on the spectacular verandah with its 180 degree views into the Lebombo mountains. We then meet Jared, our Ranger for the stay, and Temba, our tracker.
We have afternoon tea, an orientation and security briefing, and then head out in the late afternoon for our first open-Landrover Game Drive into the bush.
Listen to the podcast to hear a few of our encounters, and why we are grateful for the opportunity to stop for sundowners and snacks on a cliff high above the River on the Mozambique border.
