HOYO HOYO PHOTOGRAPHIC WORKSHOP EXTENSION
Note that the extensions are deliberately less-structured and are more informal than the Workshops that precede them. Whilst ad-hoc lectures may take place on subjects of common interest, the focus is on your own needs and development as a photographer, and spare time can be used for one-to-one tuition with Sean. | back to Sabi Sand Workshop

DAY FOUR
After the final game drive, breakfast and Workshop summary at Elephant Plains, you will transfer by road with Sean and Megan to Hoyo Hoyo Tsonga Lodge in its exclusive area within the Kruger. Hoyo Hoyo is situated within the Mluwati Concession, some 40km (24.8 miles) into the National Park from the Orpen Gate.
You will arrive at Hoyo Hoyo in time to have a siesta or perhaps a swim in the pool, and then a bite to eat. Once again we will then go out on an afternoon game drive in which we will focus on expanding the range of photo opportunities you have had. You will continue to put your training into practice with a little gentle guidance on offer as and when required.
Hoyo Hoyo boasts six luxurious yet traditional huts that are furnished in an earthy style using symbolism from ancient Tsonga traditions. Romantic antique ensuite baths ensure you will never forget your African experience.

DAYS FIVE AND SIX
Early morning wake-up calls with a fresh cup of coffee and muffins will kick-start your morning at Hoyo Hoyo. We will head out on game drives, and aim to fill in any holes in your sightings to date in order to maximise the range of your photographic opportunities.
After returning to the lodge for a well-deserved breakfast, there will be the the usual image review. Afterwards, you can opt to walk off any excess energy with Sean and local trackers as he takes you on a gentle stroll into the wild. A rich interpretative experience, you will have the opportunity to learn some bush skills, hear about the Shangaan culture and how to track. This a great opportunity to concentrate on photographing the little things you come across- focusing on landscape, trees and flora or bush texture and colours for example.
Alternatively you can relax by the pool, review your ever expanding image library, catch some rays or couple of winks and generally enjoy the atmosphere of this world-class bush retreat.
Retreat for some peace and quiet to the hide for some bird watching and telephoto opportunities by the waterhole. Here you also have a high chance of seeing elephants as the lodge is built along an ancestral elephant route.
High tea is available before departing for your evening photographic game drive in which the nocturnal animals come out to play. Do some stargazing with Sean and Megan after sundowners are finished before returning for dinner.
Hoyo Hoyo offers cosy indoor dining areas as well as open-air banquets. Personal butlers who add a touch of Africa to it freshly prepare magnificent cuisine that you can certainly enjoy whilst you listen to stories and jokes around the table.
